Speaking to Anfield Watch, David Lynch has been discussing Neco Williams’ future at Liverpool.
The Welsh right-back was loaned out to Fulham on deadline day, and ever since joining the Cottagers, he’s been absolutely brilliant.
The defender has scored two goals and grabbed two assists, and he’s usurped Kenny Tete as the Whites’ starting right-back.
Lynch is led to believe that Williams could join Fulham on a permanent deal upon the London club’s promotion, stating that a deal could be struck at around £10m.
What’s been said?
Lynch spoke about Williams and his Liverpool future.
“Absolutely. Neco has been a revelation since making the switch to Fulham and, if they secure promotion to the Premier League as expected, it’d be a surprise if they decided against a move,” Lynch said.
“Liverpool were willing to strike a deal last summer for around £10m and the player himself was keen on going in order to get more minutes. On the basis of his performances for Fulham so far, I doubt that asking price will have shifted much at all and could see an agreement being struck at around that this summer.”

Music to Fulham’s ears
Whether or not Liverpool selling Williams would be the right decision is up for debate – after all, they don’t have much cover at right-back themselves.
However, if Fulham have the chance to sign the Welshman permanently, they will be absolutely buzzing.
As Lynch says, he’s been a revelation at Craven Cottage, and keeping him on in the Premier League would be a savvy piece of business from the Whites.
Fulham will be desperate to get this one done, and at £10m, this could be a good deal for all parties.
