Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic drew with Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday.

Sinclair scored for Celtic in their Scottish Premiership game against Motherwell away from home at Fir Park in the 88th minute.
The goal from the former Aston Villa winger saw the match end 1-1 and extended the Hoops’ extraordinary unbeaten run in Scotland.

The 28-year-old was criticised by some for his controversial involvement in Celtic’s second goal against Motherwell in the final of the Scottish League Cup last weekend.
Sinclair went down under a challenge from Cedric Kipre on 58 minutes, and Moussa Dembele subsequently converted the penalty to make it 2-0 to Brendan Rodgers’s side at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

Former Aberdeen and Scotland international central defender Miller, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport, has praised ex-Chelsea and Manchester City winger Sinclair for taking the late penalty against Motherwell on Wednesday evening.
Miller told BBC Sport (21:41): “Class act from Sinclair to step up and take it after the cup final and the abuse he was getting, and what a penalty.
“Was it a penalty? No chance. McGregor’s going away from goal, there is a little bit of contact and he goes down.”
