Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers won against St Johnstone, thanks to goals from Ibrox stars Carlos Pena and Graham Dorrans, with defender Bruno Alves playing well.

Rangers got the better of St. Johnstone 3-0 in the Scottish Premiership on Friday evening.
Carlos Pena scored twice for Pedro Caixinha’s side, and Graham Dorrans added the third in the 86th minute.
Former Aberdeen manager Miller was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Alves.

The Portugal international central defender, who joined Rangers in the summer transfer window after leaving Cagliari at the end of the 2016-17 campaign, featured in the match.
The 35-year-old centre-back started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, and Miller says that he was “magnificent.”
“I thought Bruno Alves was magnificent,” Miller told BBC Sport (21:43). “He is an imposing figure.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at at McDiarmid Park in Perth on Friday evening, visitors Rangers had 55% of the possession, took 15 shots of which five were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
The win means that Rangers are now third in the Scottish Premiership table with 17 points from three matches.
