Well, Arsenal sensation Bukayo Saka has done it yet again.
The 19-year-old has emerged as one of the most exciting teenagers in Europe over the past year or so, but this has definitely been reinforced in recent months.
Despite being the youngest player in Arsenal’s senior squad, Saka is also the most reliable and that is reflected in his Player of the Month awards.
The England winger scooped the award for the month of December, January and – you guessed it – February.
That’s a hat-trick of successive honours for the prodigious talent and here’s how some fans of the Emirates Stadium club reacted to the announcement on Twitter on Tuesday:
Arsenal’s hierarchy would be wise to give the youngster another new contract.
Yes, he only signed a new long-term deal last summer, but if Mikel Arteta’s side miss out on Champions League qualification this season, which is more than likely what’s going to happen, then sharks will circle.
And frankly, Saka, who earns £30,000 per week at the Emirates right now, could be the focus of a lot of transfer speculation and it just isn’t good for the player or the club.
