The Real Sociedad hitman would be a superb addition to the Newcastle United squad this summer.
Magpies boss Rafa Benitez is desperately trying to add more fire-power to his ranks at St James’ Park this summer, as he looks to guide his side to a successful Premier League campaign.
The Chronicle are reporting that the Spaniard is interested in bringing Real Sociedad forward Willian Jose to Tyneside during the off-season, and what a signing he could turn out to be for Newcastle, if they manage to get a deal over the line for the Brazilian.
For someone who stands at over 6ft tall, the 25-year-old is incredibly mobile, and is renowned for his tireless running into the channels, and impressive work-rate.

He is also an accomplished finisher when presented with a goalscoring opportunity, and could strike up a potent partnership with Dwight Gayle for the Toon.
Willian scored 14 goals in 32 outings for the La Liga side last term, demonstrating his superb technique when in possession of the football, whilst proving that he can also excel when playing with his back to goal, as the lone ‘target man’ type striker.
They will not have things all their own way though, in their pursuit of the Brazilian, with the Chronicle also claiming that Barcelona are interested in signing him.
The opportunity for regular first-team football would surely be severely limited at the Nou Camp though, so a move to Barca seems unlikely, especially in a World Cup year.
Willian still has four years remaining on his current deal in Spain, so he will not come cheap, but if Rafa can convince the Newcastle board to dig deep for the Sociedad man, they could have one heck of a player on their hands.
