Some Arsenal fans on Twitter think that Willian will leave the Gunners after he was left out of the matchday squad against Brentford last night.

Arsenal suffered a 2-0 defeat to Brentford away from home in the opening Premier League game of the season last night.
Manager Mikel Arteta did not include Willian in the team.
In fact, the 33-year-old Brazil international winger was not even in the Arsenal matchday squad.
The former Chelsea star, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, was left out of the North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur as well.
There was speculation this week that Arsenal boss Arteta wants to offload Willian to free up wages.

As you can see from the tweets below, Arsenal fans think that Willian is going to leave this summer after being left out against Brentford.
Well, some of them anyway.
And they are not sad.
Willian really had a tough season in 2020-21 and could not meet expectations.
The former Chelsea star scored one goal and gave five assists in 16 Premier League starts, and gave two assists in 312 minutes in the Europa League last season.
