The Nigerian international is now playing his football for the Belgian side.
Tottenham Hotspur now know who they will face in the Europa League following their exit from the Champions League at the group stage.
Tottenham will face off against Belgian side KAA Gent as they look to give the fans at Spurs something to cheer about after their dismal Champions League campaign.

Gent will not provide many household names to contend with, but there will be one player in the Belgian ranks who will be recognised by Tottenham Hotspur fans.
That player is William Troost-Ekong.
The 23-year-old defender came through the youth ranks at Spurs before leaving the club in 2013 to head back to his country of birth the Netherlands and join FC Groningen.

Now he is at Gent and expressed his delight at getting to face his old team on Twitter this afternoon:
The defender joined Gent in July 2015 from Groningen after impressing out on loan at FC Dordrecht. He was immediately loaned out to Norwegian side FK Haugesund where he established himself as one of the best players in the Norwegian league and Earned a place in the Nigerian first-team.
He will no doubt be hoping to get his chance against Tottenham when they face off in the New Year – and prove he was good enough to cut it at Spurs.
