Arsenal defender William Saliba has joined the players praising Alexandre Lacazette after his latest display for the Gunners.
Lacazette was in fine form for Arsenal as he blasted in two goals in their 4-0 triumph over Slavia Prague.
The French striker was at his clinical best, with his second goal particularly eye catching.
Lacazette got the ball under pressure in the box, but cleverly sidestepped the defender to create some space, before finishing neatly at the near post to cap off Arsenal’s triumph.
The praise flooded in for the Arsenal forward on Instagram after the game, with Saliba clearly keeping an eye on his side’s progress last night.
The youngster posted a series of flame emojis under Lacazette’s post, suggesting he was impressed by the forward’s display.
Many Arsenal fans will be hoping that Saliba and Lacazette are teammates at the Emirates Stadium next season, but doubts remain over both of the pair.
Saliba is yet to play for the Gunners since signing and has been sent out on loan to Nice, with Mikel Arteta seemingly have reservations over using the young central defender.
Lacazette, meanwhile, reportedly could be sold (Telegraph) – as Arsenal look to raise funds – despite his good form of late.
