Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the news that the Gunners have included William Saliba in their Premier League squad.
What’s the story?
Arsenal have named Saliba in their Premier League squad.
The 20-year-old defender is among 63 youngsters who have been named in Arsenal’s Premier League squad.
The 63 players have been included in Arsenal’s Under-21 list.
Saliba is out on loan at Marseille this season, but the French defender has still been included in that list.
This means that Saliba will classed as homegrown next season.

Arsenal signed Saliba from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 2019.
As part of the deal, the Frenchman stayed on loan at Saint-Etienne for the 2019-20 campaign.
The France Under-20 international defender could not make a single Premier League appearance for Arsenal in the first half of last season and was sent out on loan to Nice in January 2021.

Saliba moved to Marseille on loan for this season in the summer transfer window.
What are Arsenal fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Arsenal fans think that it is very clever of the club to include Saliba in their Premier League squad for this season.
Well, some of them anyway.
