West Ham United winger Michail Antonio was wanted by Crystal Palace, but Manuel Pellegrini didn’t sell him.

Manuel Pellegrini may be regretting not taking the chance to sell West Ham United winger Michail Antonio to Crystal Palace this summer, after his disappointing display on the opening day of the season.
Pellegrini surprisingly chose to start with Antonio for West Ham in their match against Liverpool, but the winger failed to impress.
Antonio didn’t offer the Hammers much cover in defence, and he did little in attack either at Anfield.
And Pellegrini may be regretting not cashing in on the wide-man while he had the chance.

The Hammers decided to keep the powerful wide-man around, but he may no longer fit in at the London Stadium, after his poor display.
With Lucas Perez and Andriy Yarmolenko set to be involved in the near future, Pellegrini’s attacking options should improve, and Antonio’s poor opening day display may mean that West Ham believe they have now missed an opportunity to cash in on the 28-year-old.
