Tottenham Hotspur travel to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City on Saturday evening.
Tottenham Hotspur face Manchester City in the Premier League this Saturday, but will Mauricio Pochettino adopt a change in tactics given the news surrounding Jan Vertonghen?
The centre-back is seemingly set for around six weeks on the sidelines after injuring his ankle during the emphatic victory over West Brom last weekend, according to BBC Sport.

But rather than make drastic changes, HITC Sport’s James Rutherford and Michael Ramsey have predicted that the Belgian’s injury is unlikely to make the Spurs boss move away from a tactic that has worked so well in recent weeks.
“I think he’ll stick with his three centre-backs and I think he’ll bring Wimmer in,” HITC Sport’s James said.
Though the injury to Vertonghen tainted the result against the Baggies somewhat, there is no question that the performance could not have been much better from Tottenham.

And given that that victory just continued their brilliant run of late – Spurs have won their last seven games in all competitions, scoring 21 and conceding just three – it would be, as Michael and James suggest, a surprise if Pochettino decided that a change in system was required, especially as Manchester City appear to be vulnerable having been thrashed 4-0 by Everton in their last outing.
But do the guys expect Tottenham to extend their winning run when they travel to the Etihad? To find out their thoughts in full, as well as their predictions, simply watch the preview at the top of the page…
