Can Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen kick on after his impressive display for Denmark?

Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen was far from his sparkling best before the international break, but representing his nation may be the catalyst for him to rediscover his top form.
The attacking midfielder has no goals and just one assist in his opening four Spurs games this season, while his overall displays have been a long way short of his usual standard.
But he starred at the weekend by helping Denmark beat Wales 2-0 in the Nations League, as he scored both goals for his side.
The 26-year-old is the talisman for his nation and it appears like international duty has been a blessing for him.
Eriksen will now turn his attention back to club football and next on the agenda for Mauricio Pochettino’s side is a home fixture at Wembley against in-form Liverpool.
The North London club will lay down a real marker if they beat Liverpool, who are considered one of the favourites for the Premier League title.

Eriksen has proven regularly in recent years that he can unlock defences and he was directly involved in 27 goals last season for Spurs in all competitions.
The creative maestro is likely to regain form in the near future and Liverpool fans will be praying it’s not against them at the weekend.
