Mohamed Salah has been a big success for Liverpool since signing in the summer from Roma, and is expected to play a big part against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

Salah, 25, has scored seven goals and provided two assists in all competitions and become an instant hit at Anfield.

It was odd that Tottenham did not re-ignite their interest in the Egyptian, despite the high £36 million fee which Liverpool paid.

Spurs did not sign a winger in the transfer window, and Salah could have been the missing part of the puzzle for them.

This weekend he can make them regret not challenging Liverpool for his signature.
