Rangers are after another midfielder

Glasgow Rangers are targeting midfielder Craig Bryson, according to The Daily Record.
Bryson has been at Derby since 2011 and at 32 should find the opportunity to join Rangers too good to turn down.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard also has an advantage in negotiations, because his old pal Frank Lampard is Bryson’s boss at Derby.
This will make negotiating easier, with Gerrard able to seek out Lampard to enquire over his plans for Bryson.
The veteran has played a bit-part role this season, and an exit would allow Derby the chance to give game time to younger players.

Gerrard and Lampard played together for England for the best part of a decade, often with mixed results, but their respect for each other holds up.
Both are into their first jobs in management, and they have made successful starts.
If there was no chance of Rangers signing Bryson, Lampard would be able to tell Gerrard quickly that he is wasting his time.
Rangers appear keen to kick on and sign the former Kilmarnock midfielder, and then it is just up to the clubs to agree a fee.
