Derby County and Norwich City are said to be chasing the 26-year-old, 15 months since Sheffield United speculation.

Wigan Athletic’s Sam Morsy is being linked with a move to Championship sides Derby County and Norwich City in January, but could Sheffield United enter the running?
United were credited with interest in Morsy at the start of last season (Sheffield Star), but he was loaned to Barnsley instead.
After impressing at Oakwell, the former Chesterfield midfielder returned Wigan in January, and while he was unable to keep them in the Championship, he has since played a key role in trying to get them back there.

According to the Daily Mail, however, Derby and Norwich are hoping to snare Morsy before he can finish what he started, and given their past interest – and the fact their ex-Rams midfielder is out with a broken leg – it would be little surprise if Sheffield United’s name is also mentioned in the coming weeks.
Lower-league schooled and with a point to prove at Championship level, you could argue that Morsy, who would follow in the footsteps of fellow Egyptian Ahmed Fathi by moving to Bramall Lane, is a typical Blades recruit.
Should Sheffield United enter the running to sign the reported Derby/Norwich target?
