Some Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting after Marcelo Bielsa announced that Patrick Bamford will once again be out for this weekend’s game against Watford.
Bamford missed Leeds’ game against West Ham last week with an injury, and he’s not going to appear against the Hornets either.
Usually, you’d expect the Leeds fanbase to go into a bit of a meltdown after their star striker was ruled out of a crucial game, but interestingly, some Leeds fans have had the opposite reaction.
Indeed, rather than focusing on Bamford’s injury, fans were more keen to discuss the fact that this injury would likely mean we’re going to see Rodrigo playing as a number nine again this weekend.
The Spaniard put in a bright shift against West Ham last week, and it seems as though the Leeds fanbase are excited to see what he can do in that position against Watford.
