Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have been heavily linked with the 19-year-old, who would cost £300,000.

Rangers are being heavily linked with a move for Tyler Roberts recently, with The Sun reporting this past weekend that a deal was close to being agreed.
The 19-year-old West Bromwich Albion striker would cost Rangers a mere £300,000 due to the cross-border compensation rule for Under-21 talents – the same loophole that helped Celtic sign Moussa Dembele.
And it looks like the Gers will know if they’ve been successful this week.

Roberts, who West Brom are desperate to keep, has been on loan at League One side Walsall since September, and Saddlers boss Jon Whitney told The Express and Star on Tuesday that he wants him back until the end of the season.
“We’re still talking to Albion because we want to keep Tyler. I think for his best interests, he should stay. I think young players need to play games – under-23 football is not what Tyler needs,” he told The Express and Star.
“It won’t motivate him and it won’t help him to develop.

“I’m hoping, because we’ve got such a great relationship and understanding, that we will know this week.”
Whitney’s claims that he expects clarity on Roberts’s future this week surely indicates that something will be decided one way or the other and Rangers fans will hope it’s in their favour.
