The Glasgow Rangers midfielder will feature in a testimonial match this evening.

As reported by Rangers’ official website, Dalcio is among the Gers players included in a squad to play Berwick Rangers this evening in a testimonial for Steven Notman, and it gives the flop a rare opportunity to impress his interim manager Graeme Murty.
The 21-year-old arrived at Ibrox on loan from Benfica B back in the summer but was quickly found out, disappointing in the Europa League against Progres Niederkorn and quickly falling out of favour under former manager Pedro Caixinha.

In total the Portuguese midfielder has managed only 134 minutes of first-team action for Rangers so far, with just a single minute coming in the Scottish Premiership, and it is going to take one hell of a turnaround to ensure he is remembered as anything other than a complete flop.
Dalcio will need to seize whatever chances come his way in an attempt to do just that, starting this evening in a match he and some of his fellow Rangers fringe players should see as a chance to prove their worth; no matter the opposition or the occasion.

If he fails to show his desire to perform in front of his current boss, it could be yet another nail in a coffin that already looks tightly shut. However a fine performance could at least prompt Murty into considering the youngster in what remains of his interim tenure at Ibrox.
Next up for Rangers is a league game against Hamilton Academical on Saturday and some of the players on show tonight will be hoping to force their way into contention for that clash.
