Glasgow Rangers reportedly wanted to bring Jordan Jones to Ibrox in the summer transfer window, with Celtic also claimed to want him, but the Kilmarnock midfielder is now said to be on the radar of Swansea City and Aston Villa.

Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic were linked with Jordan Jones in the summer transfer window.
Rangers and Celtic wanted to sign Jones from Kilmarnock in the summer of 2018, according to TEAMtalk.
Nothing materialised, and the 24-year-old midfielder is still at Kilmarnock and is playing well in the Scottish Premiership at the moment.
The former Middlesbrough prospect has provided three assists in 11 Scottish Premiership appearances for Steve Clarke’s side so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com.
Jones would be a good signing for Rangers or Celtic, but the Gers and the Hoops may struggle to secure his services.
With the midfielder’s current contract at Kilmarnock running out at the end of the season, the 24-year-old is reportedly on the radar of Swansea City and Aston Villa in the Championship in England.
According to The Daily Mail, the Swans and the Villans are looking at the 24-year-old, with the Welsh outfit interested in signing the midfielder in the January transfer window.
Both Swansea and Villa are challenging for promotion to the Premier League, and playing in the second tier of English football where there is more money than in the Scottish Premiership and where the standard of football is also better could be quite appealing to Jones.
