Jack Harrison was reportedly interesting Newcastle, but he instead moved to Man City.

Newcastle United decided to let winger Rolando Aarons make a surprise switch to Italian side Hellas Verona and it has now left them largely thin on the flanks.
Matt Ritchie is out of form at the moment, while Jacob Murphy is still taking time to adapt to the Premier League after his summer move from Norwich City.
New signing Kenedy started on the left but could be moved into a central role after starring against Burnley on Wednesday night with Ayoze Perez struggling for form, while Christian Atsu started on the right.

The Toon’s three man priorities in the January transfer window were to sign a goalkeeper, left-back and a striker, which they did on deadline day if you count Kenedy as a makeshift left-sided defender.
But adding a winger would have also been high on Rafa Benitez’s shortlist as he looks to add the attacking tenacity required to keep Newcastle in the Premier League.
The Daily Star claimed during January that youngster Jack Harrison was a £6million target for the Toon, but he instead moved to Manchester City before being loaned to bitter rivals Middlesbrough – after starring in the MLS for New York City.

Harrison, 21, will surely shine in the Championship after scoring 14 goals and adding 10 assists in 55 MLS appearances. He came through the ranks at Liverpool and Manchester United before moving across the pond.
His eye for goal, ability to split a defence in half with a natural vision, pocket-full of tricks and a willingness to run at defences is just the kind of winger Newcastle are crying out for. Harrison would have been perfect.
At £6million, he was arguably on the cheap side for Newcastle who made a £15million offer for Nicolai Jorgensen during the window. Surely, the Toon will regret failing to land the England Under-21 international’s signature.
