Some Arsenal fans are reacting on Twitter to Yves Bisssouma potentially joining Liverpool this summer – and they’re not very happy about it.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder for quite a lot of the year so far.
But the addition of Albert Sambi Lokonga, combined with Granit Xhaka staying put, has lessened the Gunners’ need for the midfielder and apparently Liverpool are now keen.
According to The Express, the Reds have asked the Seagulls about signing the 23-year-old.
Bissouma has had a brilliant start to the Premier League season and it hasn’t escaped some fans of the North London club.
And here’s how they reacted to the prospect of him joining Liverpool this summer.
Devastating
It’ll be devastating for Arsenal if he does make the switch to Anfield and winds up being a stellar signing.
That’s because he’s been well within range of Edu and Mikel Arteta; not only because the Gunners can afford him, but because Bissouma, a boyhood fan, actually wants to join the Emirates Stadium side.
So for them to consciously decide against signing him this summer, it would infuriate some Arsenal fans even more if he becomes a big hit under somebody like Jurgen Klopp – and it’s not unthinkable.
We’re talking about a brilliant, Premier League-proven player and it’s entirely possible he would prove himself a big success on Merseyside, under the coaching of Klopp.
For Arsenal fans’ and Edu’s sake, you’d hope he stays at Albion for at least another year.
