Liverpool should be challenging Juventus for the Real Madrid ace’s signature.

According to a report from Italian media outlet Tuttosport, Juventus are keen to sign Real Madrid ace Marco Asensio this summer, but Liverpool should surely be challenging the Serie A giants for the Spaniard’s signature.
Tuttosport claims that Juve have already made contact with he 23-year-old over the possibility of a summer switch to Turin, however, so the Reds will have to act fast.
Jürgen Klopp’s side have been linked with a move for the Los Blancos ace before, with Spanish publication OK Diario reporting back in November that the German was desperate to bring him to Anfield.
Asensio would be an excellent addition for Liverpool. He can play anywhere along the front-line, is blisteringly quick, and possesses exceptional technical ability.
The Spain international would provide much-needed world class competition for the Reds’ current front three, and he would surely help take the Merseyside outfit to another level entirely.
Asensio will not come cheap, however. According to Spanish publication AS, Madrid rejected an offer worth €150 million (£129 million) for the forward last summer.

The 23-year-old has struggled for regular game-time at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, however, so the La Liga side might be tempted into selling him in the summer.
And Liverpool cannot hesitate to bring him to Anfield, regardless of the price, especially with Juventus reportedly making moves of their own to sign the talented Spanish ace.
