The Brighton and Hove Albion striker was a Leeds United target during last summer’s transfer window.

A 2017 target for Leeds United is reportedly planning to quit his current employers, Brighton and Hove Albion, in the summer.
According to the Daily Mirror (April 2nd, page 49), Tomer Hemed is fuming after he was denied a January loan to the Championship and cut from Chris Hughton’s team.
Leeds may be in need of a striker by then, with Pierre-Michel Lasogga’s loan spell ending and looking like being difficult to renew.

Some reports have claimed top flight interest in the German, who, others state, earns around £50,000 a week at parent club, Hamburg.
And having shown an interest in Hemed during last summer’s transfer window, according to the Sun, it would perhaps be little surprise to see the Whites once again named as potential suitors of the Israel international.
Much like Lasogga, Hemed is strong, has good awareness in the box and scores goals – 28 in 81 Championship games – equally well with head and foot.

And while he recently signed an improved deal at the Amex, the 30-year-old is much more likely to fit within Leeds’ rumoured £15,000-a-week wage limit.
