Earlier this week it was reported by David Ornstein that Arsenal are interested in Gabriel Jesus, and now, Fabrizio Romano has a further update on the Brazilian striker.

Indeed, according to the Italian journalist, Jesus will be leaving Manchester City this summer, while he’s also reaffirmed the fact that Arsenal have an ongoing and serious interest in the forward.

Arsenal may be keen on Jesus, but this should put a number of top clubs on alert.

Jesus is an incredibly talented footballer, but he’s somewhat gone under the radar in recent years due to his role in this Manchester City side.

However, we mustn’t forget that Jesus was one of the deadliest strikers in England when he first arrived on these shores, and given that he’s worked with Mikel Arteta before, there’s reason to believe he could once again hit those heights at Arsenal.

Of course, whether or not Arsenal can land him remains to be seen. There will surely be a number of teams looking at Jesus after this update, but with the Gunners arguably being the most high-profile club in Europe in need of a new striker this summer, this could be a match made in heaven.

One thing is for sure, Jesus is a player worth keeping an eye on as the summer window approaches.
