Aston Villa want Axel Tuanzebe on loan from Manchester United.

When Jose Mourinho came to Manchester United he boasted in his opening press conference about how many young players he has given chances to in his career.
Yet three of the club’s most promising players, Axel Tuanzebe, Andreas Pereira and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are not really any closer to his first team.
More decisions need to be make this summer over the trio, and first up is Tuanzebe.
Tuanzebe’s first loan was cut short by injury and manager Steve Bruce is keen to try again.

Mourinho has to decide whether to simply give Tuanzebe away, or be brave and bring him through himself.
United are at an interesting point defensively, with the time come to make decisions on the futures of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling.
The pair failed to make the England squad and United fans would not shed too many tears if they were moved on, and faith put in Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof.

It would be brave to sell both, and bring Tuanzebe through as a fourth choice, with Marcos Rojo ahead of him and potentially another new signing, with Toby Alderweireld linked.
Tuanzebe would get more game time at Villa, but if Mourinho wants to sell a couple of his options and invest time and effort in the youngster himself, he might just be pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
