Massimo Luongo was left out of the starting 11 at Birmingham City
Queens Park Rangers boss Ian Holloway was desperate to end a miserable run of five games without a win on Saturday and his changes to the starting 11 resulted in a 4-1 win at Birmingham City.
The most notable change to the side came in the midfield department as highly-rated Australian midfielder Massimo Luongo was dropped to the bench.
The change seemed to do the trick for the struggling Rs and Lungo, who signed a new contract with the club just last week, will likely now have to force his way back into the team.
The former Tottenham Hotspur prospect who joined Rangers from Swindon Town has featured 27 times for the club this season in all competitions.

In the games Luongo has missed, QPR have won three, drawn two and lost just once, which supports the view of some Hoops fans who believe the team performs better without him.
Many of the QPR faithful feel that the team plays a more attacking style without Luongo in the team, as shown by the four goal performance at Birmingham on Saturday.
Ahead of tonight’s clash with Wigan Athletic at Loftus Road, it seems that Rs fans want Holloway to stick with the same 11 that ended their win-less run.
