Newly-signed Watford midfielder Will Hughes has taken to social networking site Twitter to send an emotional message to Derby County.
Premier League club Watford have signed Hughes from Championship outfit Derby for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £8 million.
Hughes had been at Derby since 2011, and the 22-year-old midfielder has sent an emotional message to everyone connected with the Rams.
During his time at Derby, Hughes established himself as one of the best young midfielders in the Championship.
The youngster is hugely promising and has a lot of potential, and moving to Watford in the Premier League is a step-up for him.
The England Under-21 international could take a while to adapt to the pace and the rigours of the English top flight, but he should prove to be a very good long-term signing for Watford.
Watford have established themselves in the Premier League, while Derby will be aiming to end up in the top six of the Championship next season.
