The former Tottenham Hotspur player enjoyed a promising loan spell at Glasgow Rangers earlier in his career.

When then-Tottenham Hotspur winger Nathan Oduwa headed to Ibrox on loan in the summer of 2015, it looked like a very canny deal for Rangers, and when he supplied two assists in his first league start for the club, things were only looking up.
The Rangers loanee soon added further assists against Morton and Queen of the South and his first and only goal for the Gers came in a 4-0 victory against Dumbarton.
But after a solid start, he fell out of favour, and was ultimately sent back to White Hart Lane earlier than initially expected.
It was a cruel blow for a player whose talent is undeniable but who has failed to perform consistently thus far.
The tricks and the flair are there in abundance, but can he add the end product on a regular basis?
Tottenham rated him highly, and given that he is still only 20 he has plenty of time to fulfil his potential. But when he did make the permanent move from North London, it was to the unfamiliar surroundings of the Slovenian league, where he now turns out for Olimpija Ljubljana.
For those fans who scoff at the move, he plays for a side pushing hard for the league title, just three points behind leaders Maribor, and one wonders if in time Rangers will regret not making another move for the winger.
He fits the bill as a young player with bags of potential that would have been available in a cut-price deal, and while he was not consistent during his earlier stint at Rangers, all he really needs is a club to call a home.
Only time will tell if Rangers made a mistake not bringing him back to Scotland, this time in a permanent deal, but exciting young talents are hard to come by in the modern game, especially ones that – when the penny drops – could become stars in their own right.
