The Austrian is currently out on loan at Wolves.
Gary Rowett
Gary Rowett has taken over as head coach at Derby County, following the recent sacking of Steve McClaren at Pride Park – again.
The former Birmingham manager, who spent three years as a player at Derby, will be hoping to push Derby back up the table and start thinking about leading them to the play-off places for next season.
One player who will hope he can make his way back into his plans is Austrian attacker Andreas Weimann.
The 25-year-old is currently out on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, after failing to convince both Nigel Pearson and McClaren this season.
But the former Aston Villa player, who cost Derby around £2.75 million according to the Guardian, will be hoping that Rowett gives him a chance.

The hard-working and industrious attacker is just the sort of player that Rowett loves and will no doubt be on his mind after taking over at Pride Park this week.
For now, Weimann has to try and keep Wolves in the Championship. But perhaps next season he will be helping Derby in their push for promotion under Rowett.
