Liverpool fans have been left very impressed by the performance of Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin yesterday.
Saint-Maximin starred as Newcastle picked up a 3-0 win over Sheffield United on Sunday.
And Liverpool fans feel that the Frenchman could make a brilliant addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Liverpool are thought to be on the look out for a new attacker, but they are working on a limited budget.
Liverpool have already missed out on the opportunity to sign Timo Werner this summer, due to the financial constraints Klopp is working under.
Whether the Reds could afford to reach Newcastle’s asking price for Saint-Maximin remains to be seen though.
The Frenchman joined Newcastle for £16 million last summer (Goal), but the Magpies are likely to want far more than that fee now.
Saint-Maximin has scored four goals and claimed four assists for Newcastle so far this season.
