The two Leeds United attackers could work brilliantly together.

Leeds United fans have been waiting a while to see summer signing Caleb Ekuban following his ill-timed injury, but based on recent evidence they have an absolute gem on their hands.
The 23-year-old started for the Whites against Barnsley on Saturday and he delivered the kind of hard-working performance that will quickly endear him to the Elland Road faithful.

Not only that, he also possesses the skill set to ensure those behind him play to their full potential, most notably Ezgjan Alioski.
The Macedonia international appears to be building up a head of steam at Leeds after a shaky few months and he is now adding regular goals to his repertoire. That said, Alioski really needs a fast-moving forward ahead of him, both to revel in his passing and to create space that he himself can exploit.

Ekuban is that man, far more than the ill-fitting Pierre-Michel Lasogga, and based on Saturday’s performance Leeds could have a brilliant attacking trio in the Ghanaian, Alioski and the always impressive Samu Saiz.
Leeds fans thought they had signed an impressive option in Ekuban based on his early, pre-injury appearances, but now it seems he can also ensure Alioski fulfils his potential, with both men becoming stars in their own right.
