Tottenham are keen on Davinson Sanchez, but Crystal Palace have an ace in the pack.
Crystal Palace moved to sign Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan from Manchester United yesterday, strengthening their defence.
The Colombian international is one of the most highly regarded young centre-backs in Europe, and Tottenham Hotspur are now showing interest.

News of Tottenham’s interest could revive Palace’s own interest, and they hold the ace in the pack with manager Frank de Boer.

De Boer has worked with Sanchez previously at Ajax and remains regarded as a legend at the club going back to his playing days.
£35 million would mean a record fee for both teams, but Palace are well backed, stumping up £30 million to sign Christian Benteke last summer.
Ajax should rightly be reluctant to sell the defender, but even if they can be convinced, Palace’s interest and the De Boer connection suggests Tottenham may not have it all their own way.
