The West Bromwich Albion winger is set to return from injury and it will be interesting to see which way he goes.

When Nacer Chadli first signed for West Bromwich Albion, it looked like he was hellbent on proving his former employers Tottenham Hotspur wrong, as he scored four goals and provided two assists in his first five appearances for the Baggies.
But that was as good as it got for the Belgian, as he managed just one more goal and three additional strikes in the rest of the campaign.

This season the 28-year-old has struggled for game time at The Hawthorns, in part due to injury, and with West Brom manager Tony Pulis hoping that he will be back to his best after the international break, it will be interesting to see if Chadli is spurred on by the Baggies’ quality new additions or if he continues to under-perform.
At his best, Chadli is one of the most effective wingers in the Premier League. The problem is he is rarely at his best for a prolonged spell, as is the way for many wide men.

But now Chadli is not the brightest light, with summer signings Kieran Gibbs and Grzegorz Krychowiak impressing from the outset and taking West Brom to the next level in the process.
With fellow winger Olivier Burke also on West Brom’s books, Chadli should use his new teammates’ talent to propel himself to another level week in, week out.
The performances of Gibbs and Krychowiak should be all the motivation Chadli needs, but only time will tell if he can be the creative catalyst Pulis is looking for.
