Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu gives Birmingham hope after denying Huddersfield switch.
Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has given Birmingham City hope of signing him after denying he is on the move to Huddersfield Town.
The Sun previously claimed that the Terriers were readying a £4.5m move for the 26-year-old to add more steel into their midfield as they prepare for a debut campaign in the Premier League.

Huddersfield manager David Wagner was said to have been impressed by Agyemang-Badu as he turned out for Udinese in a pre-season friendly at the John Smith’s Stadium – but the Birmingham Mail also reported that Blues boss Harry Redknapp and director of football Jeff Vetere were spotted outside the ground talking to the Ghana international.
And Redknapp may have been given a boost in his pursuit of the African after he told Ghanaian outlet Starr Sports: “I’m not joining Huddersfield. I’ve not received any offer from them.
“There are no offers and I’m just enjoying my preseason with Udinese.”
Agyemang-Badu has been consistently linked with a move away from the Stadio Friuli and has admitted he would be open to a switch to another Serie A club, or a team outside of Italy.
The same report from the Sun also claimed that the Championship’s big spenders Middlesbrough were considering a move for the Ghanaian – who has 76 caps and 11 goals for his country to date.
