Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed to Football London that Dani Ceballos and Pablo Mari will return to training next week.
Ceballos and Mari have both been suffering with injury recently, but the Arsenal pair appear to be close to making a comeback now.
And Arteta is expecting them back in first-team training sooner rather than later.
He said: “We will be training today and we will see how everybody is. I think Dani Ceballos will be training with the squad in the next few days, Pablo Mari probably as well.
“Obviously, Martin Odegaard will be joining us as well. For the rest we have to see how Kieran is. And I think that’s it.”
Ceballos’ and Mari’s returns are good news for Arsenal, as they add even more depth to their options.
Ceballos tweeted that he was ‘almost there’ in his recovery earlier this week, and it seems that there is confidence from all parties that he could be back in the very near future.

Neither Ceballos or Mari have been particularly long-term absentees, but Arsenal’s game against Manchester United on Saturday is still likely to come too soon for them both.
Their returns, however, could come next Tuesday – when the Gunners take on Wolves.
