Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Fulham criticised Stephen Warnock’s punditry during the 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
Warnock was writing on the BBC’s live blog of the game.
When Mason Greenwood accidentally hit Joe Bryan, Warnock criticised the Fulham left-back for going to ground and felt he was milking it.
However, Fulham then hit back with a tweet accusing Warnock of twisting the facts, along with a photo of blood dripping from Bryan’s nose.
They were well within their rights to hit back, but the Leeds fans are not happy.
Why?
Well, when Karen Carney said that Leeds only got promoted because of COVID-19 earlier this season, the club’s Twitter account hit back in similar fashion.

They had every right to do so, as Leeds were coasting in the Championship before the pandemic brought football to a halt.
However, Leeds then faced huge criticism from all over the football world for inciting a pile-on of abuse aimed at Carney.
She later had to delete her Twitter account.

Leeds fans below have questioned if Fulham will face similar scrutiny for taking aim at Warnock, which is a very fair point.
Of course, the abuse aimed at Carney was unacceptable, and we hope Warnock doesn’t receive anything similar for his comments.
Let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying…
