Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after Reiss Nelson liked a post on Instagram about a potential move to Brighton.
The winger has been linked with a move to the south coast in recent days, and his activity on social media would suggest that he’s at least thinking about the move.
Fans believe that this was something of a transfer hint from Nelson.
Of course, this could just be an innocuous administrative error. Often footballers’ accounts are handled by third parties, or perhaps he’s misclicked the like button.
As you can imagine though, some Arsenal fans went into meltdown mode, fearing that he’ll be leaving the club this summer.
A couple of fans drew comparisons between Nelson and Serge Gnabry, who has become a star at Bayern Munich since leaving Arsenal.
Whether or not Nelson leaves Arsenal for Brighton remains to be seen, but if he does go it certainly wouldn’t be a popular move amongst the fanbase.
