Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to make a brave prediction about Leicester’s James Justin, following the 2-0 win over Chelsea.
The BBC Match of the Day host tweeted that he believes the £8 million signing from Luton will become England’s left-back one day.
That is quite a bold claim, seeing as Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell are also in the running for that position.
It goes without saying that Gareth Southgate has a wealth of options in that role.
You can see Lineker’s tweet in full below.
After the impressive win over Frank Lampard’s men, you can see why Lineker made such a statement – Justin was absolutely superb.
As WhoScored shows, the 22-year-old won two tackles against the Blues, and also won two freekicks from a lacklustre Chelsea side.

Additionally, he showed his attacking qualities by embarking on one dribble, while also having one shot at Edouard Mendy’s goal.
The Luton-born full-back has taken to life in the Premier League like a duck to water.

Justin’s form so far is testament to his ability, but also testament to Leicester’s fine recruitment skills.
Alongside another young-gun in Wesley Fofana, the Foxes look to have a backline built to last many years.
