Some Liverpool fans on social media have been drooling over Kaide Gordon after his showing in the Reds’ friendly against Mainz on Friday.
The 16-year-old winger got the chance to mix it up with the first-teamers on Friday, and it’s fair to say he took his chance.
Unfortunately, Gordon didn’t manage to score in this game, but he did have the ball in the back of the net before it was disallowed, showing his quality in the process.
What was the most striking about Gordon was his quality on the ball. The winger looked incredibly tricky and every time he was involved in the play he caused chaos for the opposition defence.
It was easy to forget just how young Gordon was when watching him strut his stuff on Friday, and as you can imagine, his performance sent Liverpool supporters into a bit of a frenzy.
