Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho’s latest fitness update on Giovani Lo Celso looks seriously good news.
When speaking to BBC Sport after Tottenham’s win over Burnley, Mourinho suggested that Lo Celso could well be back involved for Tottenham again by the weekend.
Spurs are set to take on Fulham on Thursday and while that game may come too soon for the Argentine playmaker, it is expected that he will be fit enough to play some part on Sunday.
“We have to go until the end and let’s see – I am especially pleased because we have no injuries – even Giovani Lo Celso will be back not against Fulham but maybe for Palace and that’s important because we will have a crazy run of matches so we have everyone back in the squad,” he said.
Lo Celso has been pictured back in Tottenham training recently, as he steps up his comeback from injury.
The 24-year-old has had a rather disappointing year, after failing to deliver on last season’s promise.

Lo Celso was arguably Tottenham’s most consistent performer towards the back end of last season, but he has been unable to stay fit this time around.
The prospect of having him back soon is a seriously exciting one for Spurs fans, though.
Tottenham’s attack appears to be starting to click into gear again, and if they can inject even more creativity into it upon Lo Celso’s return then they could be a frightening prospect for opposition teams over the remainder of the season.
