Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has told Football London that both Eddie Nketiah and Cedric Soares will be recalled for his side’s match against Aston Villa tomorrow.

Nketiah has not played in any of Arsenal’s last three matches due to suspension, while Cedric has been nursing an injury.

But the pair are now fit and available, with Shkodran Mustafi Arsenal’s only new injury concern.

“We are assessing Mustafi because he fell on his hamstring. The rest are okay. Nketiah and Cedric will be back,” Arteta said.

“Everybody was with heavy legs. He [Mustafi] had to come off, but we will see today with the results from the doctor.”

It seems likely that Arteta will rotate his Arsenal side tomorrow, after their exertions at the weekend.

Arsenal beat Manchester City with a fine defensive performance, but it was a display which would have drained his players.

The Gunners may now need to freshen things up tomorrow, as they look to keep their strong run of form going.

If Arsenal do win tomorrow they will move up to eighth place in the Premier League table, if other results go in their favour.

Villa will be desperate for the three points though, as Dean Smith’s side are currently three points adrift of safety.
