Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Marcelo Bielsa has provided an update on the fitness of Adam Forshaw.
Forshaw has had a torrid time with injuries over the past two years. He was out for well over a year with a hip problem before making his long-awaited return in the Carabao Cup earlier this term.
Unfortunately, since then Forshaw has picked up another problem, but luckily, it seems as though that issue isn’t as serious as the initial injury that kept him out for so long.
Indeed, Bielsa says Forshaw will be available to face West Ham next week.
What’s been said?
Bielsa was giving a fitness update.
“Bamford has no difficulties and Forshaw is finishing the recovery of his injury. For next week he will be available,” Bielsa said.

Great news
It’s fantastic to hear that Forshaw will be fit enough to face West Ham United next week.
Yes, the midfielder may not be the most exciting player, and there is still a question over whether or not he is a Premier League quality player, but that’s not the most important thing here.
This is a footballer who has had two years of his career taken away from him by injury, and he may finally be in line to play a league game again after two years out.
Who knows? Perhaps Forshaw could breathe a new life into this Leeds midfield, after all, Bielsa rates him incredibly highly, with The Athletic reporting that the Argentine thinks he could play for a Champions League club.
