Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Wilfried Zaha has not taken too kindly to some online abuse from a Spurs fan and has quickly moved to shut them up, posting a three-word response on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a recent report from the Sun, the Ivory Coast international is a target for Tottenham this summer, but despite earlier claims he would reject a new contract at Selhurst Park, Sky Sports reports that Zaha’s representatives have opened talks regarding a new deal with the Eagles.

That report prompted a comment from a Tottenham fan, who suggested Zaha had found his level at Palace and only performed to his full potential once every three or four games.

Some players may have ignored the criticism, but Zaha wasd quick to respond, writing simply, “Pipe down ‘Andy'” and getting plenty of congratulations from Palace supporters as a consequence.

Tottenham would have had to fork out a considerable amount of money to bring Zaha to North London next season, and if recent claims are to be believed it seems Palace will tie the winger down to a new deal, keeping him out of the clutches of any and all potential suitors in the process.

On his day Zaha is one of the most exciting wingers in the Premier League and he has definitely rediscovered his for after leaving Manchester United and returning to his old stomping ground.
