Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has been linked with Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
The bidding war for Wilfried Zaha may be delayed until the summer after the Crystal Palace winger told BBC Sport he is staying at Selhurst Park for the rest of the season.
The Ivory Coast international put in another impressive performance to help the Eagles hold previously unstoppable Premier League leaders Manchester City to a 0-0 draw.
Palace nearly beat Pep Guardiola’s side when Zaha won a stoppage-time penalty under the challenge of Raheem Sterling, only for Ederson to save from Luka Milivojevic.
The draw continued Palace’s recovery from their seven-loss start to the season, and Zaha confirmed after the game that he will be staying all season to see the job through.
Asked if he will be staying at Crystal Palace in January, Zaha told BBC Sport: “Yep, I am.”
According to The London Evening Standard, Chelsea and Manchester City had been tipped to go in for Zaha next month after his dazzling form for the Eagles this campaign.
As Sky Sports reports, Tottenham Hotspur are also long-term admirers of the 25-year-old, having failed to sign him in 2016, and may have been tempted into a bidding war.
But Zaha’s statement of commitment to Palace means the big boys will have to wait, and the Eagles can breath a sigh of relief in their battle to avoid the drop to the Championship.
