Aston Villa ace Scott Hogan and Southampton striker Sam Gallagher are reportedly on Sheffield United’s radar.

Sheffield United have been linked with Aston Villa ace Scott Hogan and Southampton striker Sam Gallagher in the summer transfer window.
According to The Star, United are interested in signing Hogan – who can operate as a forward or as a winger – on loan from Championship rivals Villa this summer.
The same publication has also credited United manager Chris Wilder with interest in securing the services of 22-year-old striker Gallagher from Premier League club Southampton in the summer transfer window.
Blades manager Wilder has now seemed to have confirmed his interest in both Hogan and Gallagher.
The Star quotes Wilder as saying when asked about Hogan and Gallagher: “There’s a lot of good players out there. So are we in for players who have played at the top end of the Championship? Yes we are.
“It’s not a revolution, it’s evolution. We want to our good players to see other good players come into the building. I’m sure, over the next few weeks, you’ll see it really ramp up.”

Good signings for Sheffield United?
Hogan and Gallagher are good attacking players, and the duo would enhance the quality of United in that particular department.
While Gallagher is only 22 years of age, the former England Under-20 international is a very promising and talented young striker who had a loan spell at Championship club Birmingham City last season.
Hogan knows the Championship inside out, and the Blades will be making a smart signing if they are able to secure the services of the attacker on a season-long loan deal from Villa in the summer transfer window.
