Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has told The Football Show on Sky Sports that James Milner is so tough to face in training.
Milner is now 34-years-old, but he remains a hugely important player to Liverpool.
The versatile Englishman’s ability to perform in a number of roles makes him a valuable squad player for Jurgen Klopp.
And Wijnaldum admits that the energy that Milner puts into every training session is incredible.
“The engine that guy has, it’s unbelievable. I see it in games and in training,” Wijnaldum said.
“He’s non-stop [in training]. When you playa against him it’s really though. He never stops giving everything, so you have to be 100% concentrated otherwise you will lose to him.”

Despite his advancing years Milner has still managed to rack up 33 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions this term.
Milner may not have been a permanent starter, but he has still been entrusted to come on at crucial stages of matches, with his experience proving vital.
Milner has helped put Liverpool in position to win their first ever Premier League title.
Klopp’s men are just two wins away from confirming their place as champions, with the Premier League due to restart in just a week’s time.
