Tottenham Hotspur are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup having hammered non-league side Marine 5-0 on Sunday.
Spurs were handed something of a potential banana skin as they made the trip to Crosby, but they eased through with a comfortable win.
Carlos Vinicius bagged a close-range brace, Lucas Moura scored a superb free kick and Vinicius completed his hat-trick with a sublime lob.
Arguably the biggest moment came after the break, as 16-year-old midfielder Alfie Devine came off the bench to make history – twice.
Devine became Tottenham’s youngest-ever player to feature in a senior game, breaking Dane Scarlett’s record that was only broken in November 2020.
Devine then scored to become Tottenham’s youngest-ever goalscorer, cutting inside to place a fine right-footed finish into the back of the net.

Signed from Wigan Athletic over the summer, Devine is clearly making rapid progress at Tottenham, and his former club haven’t forgotten about him.
Wigan sent an emotional message to Devine, praising him for his ‘amazing’ goal and noting what a proud moment it was for his family and all at the Wigan academy.
