HITC Sport understands that Dutch winger wants to be able to talk to clubs
Wigan Athletic have rejected offers worth £6million from Norwich City and Derby County for in-demand winger Yanic Wildschut.
The Latics bought the Dutch forward from Middlesbrough 12-months ago following a loan stint at The DW Stadium, and he has excelled for them – playing a leading role in their promotion to the Championship, and has since stood out this term for them.
A host of Premier League and Championship clubs have been watching the 25-year-old, and Wigan have already rejected offers earlier this month.

Now HITC Sport understands that both Norwich and Derby had offered deals which could be worth £6million, and it was understood that would meet Wigan’s valuation.
However, Wigan have said no – and HITC Sport understands the player has told verbally told the club he wants to have the chance to talk to the club’s involved.
Wigan, who only paid £1million to Boro for the player, are clearly hoping to fend off the interest and keep him beyond Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
