Everton loanee Antonee Robinson impressed as Wigan Athletic bagged a brilliant win in the Championship.
A number of Wigan fans have responded to Antonee Robinson’s tweet after the Everton loanee helped the Latics thrash Stoke City 3-0 on Wednesday night.
The misery continues to pile on Gary Rowett. The pre-season favourites have fallen into the Championship relegation zone after the newly-promoted side picked them apart at the bet365 Stadium.
A brace from Will Grigg and a brilliant solo goal from Gavin Massey saw Wigan bag a 3-0 win that lifts them up to eighth in the Championship and leaves them just three points off the division’s summit ahead of their trip to bottom side Queens Park Rangers this weekend.
One of their best players this season has arguably been Toffees loanee Robinson, who is not only proving capable of making an impact defensively, but is also creating plenty of problems for opponents in the final third.
His form is attracting plenty of praise right now, and after he tweeted following the win over Stoke, he received a lot of love from the Wigan supporters on social media.
Some have even already suggested that they would like to see the 21-year-old extend his loan beyond the end of the season as they clearly have high hopes regarding his potential.
