The Latics will take on the Whites away from home at Elland Road in the Championship on Tuesday evening.
Caldwell is looking forward to the match and has praised Leeds fans and Elland Road.
The Wigan manager has also stated that he is confident that his side can pick up all three points from the encounter.
“It will be a great game,” Caldwell told Wigan Today. “It’s a game you look forward to in the Championship. It’s a fantastic stadium and a big crowd.
“I’m confident if we play well we’ll beat anyone in the league. I think at our best I’m very confident to play anyone so we’ll go there with belief.”
Wigan are third from bottom in the Championship table at the moment with just 10 points from 12 matches.
The Latics will head into the match against Leeds at Elland Road on Tuesday evening on the back of a goalless draw with Burton Albion at the DW Stadium in the league.
Leeds suffered a defeat at the weekend, going down 1-0 to Derby County away from home at the iPro Stadium in the Championship.
Garry Monk’s side are 13th in the league table at the moment with 16 points from 12 matches, just four points behind sixth-placed Birmingham City.
Elland Road is one of the best stadiums in England, and the Leeds fans’ passion and support should drive the team to victory over Wigan.
